LA COLINA Farm in Guatemala

White floral aromas, juicy acidity, grapefruit and red currant flavors.

Location: funded by Cimartnango, Guatemala

The Medina family formed a new tradition. The family has owned and operated the La Colina farm in southern Guatemala for three generations. In the 1950s, people planted corn and other crops in the soil. Just over a decade ago, they turned their focus to coffee. The land itself provides the necessary prerequisites for the production of high-quality soybeans, and the family has created another, investing in equipment that gives them complete control over how and when to process their crops. In the landscape irrigated by freshwater streams, ancient pines and cypresses grow with coffee trees. Ripe cherries are fully washed and then dried in the sun. Every step of the journey is carefully prepared and is an unswerving commitment to quality. This coffee has the smell of flowers and red currant.

Variety: CATURRA

Treatment: wash completely
