This story.

Introduce our newest direct trading partner in Brazil! Fazenda Terra Alta was born in 2010, when Paul and Juliana Piancateri (Juliana Piancastelli) left their corporate lives in search of a better place. They have been growing since 2011 and have produced high-scoring and award-winning coffee since their first harvest in 2013.

This naturally processed diluent consists of two grape varieties. Catuai 62 is a subvariety of yellow Catuai and a hybrid of Caturra and Mundo Novo. Yellow Catuai is a short shrub with high yield. Its cherry ripens slowly and produces a small and sweet bean.

IAC 125 RN is a relatively new variety released by the Campinas Institute of Agronomy. Its size is small and large cherries, creating a considerable amount of mucus. This is beneficial to nature and the natural process of pulping.

This batch of coffee is carefully fermented and slowly dried on a raised coffee bed. the taste is smooth and its acidity is brighter than that of Brazilian natural coffee.

Direct trade

In the years since they entered the professional coffee industry, Terra Alta has formed a professional production team to grow high-quality coffee varieties and implement innovative processing methods.

Their products are impressive and the partnership they seek is noteworthy! Paulo and Juliana have established an independent import and export structure that fully supports the direct trade model. They work with bakers during the harvest to find cooperation in micro-batches and processing methods. Since they have an import warehouse in the United States, they also have complete control of coffee during transportation.

When Paul and Juliana came to see us, we were moved by their talents and values. We hope to cooperate with them for many years!

Tasks for Terra Alta:

"create new ways to produce high-quality green coffee, positively affect the environment and communities, and boldly go to places that no growers have ever been to."
