How is the hanging-ear coffee made? What are the necessary factors for making hanging-ear coffee bags?
Making the ear tag is actually a super dense project
In order to make the best hanging ears, in addition to having excellent quality, fine grade coffee beans, you must also have the best grinding and
The complexity involved is far beyond the imagination of ordinary consumers.
We require high quality ear bags that balance the following factors:
grinding
The first determinant of the quality of the ear bag brewing is that the flow rate is too slow or too fast, and this depends on the grinder. If the packaging factory uses a bean grinder of insufficient grade, grinding quality is not good, in the grinding process will certainly cause a lot of fine powder, grinding uneven, brewing time will be "traffic jam" flow rate slowed down, soaking time too long will be over-extracted, the result is turbid mouth, flavor is not good, no matter how good the beans are not able to express the flavor.
In terms of grinding degree, we have tested it, with similar grinding degree of hand flushing, measuring the actual flow time, the overall brewing can be controlled between 1 minute 30 seconds and 1 minute 45 seconds, under such flow rate, it can have excellent taste and flavor.
In practice, it is slowly injected with fine water flow, and no matter whether the water is cut off or not, the water level will not overflow the inner bag.
On the contrary, if it is not suitable for grinding, or the foundry grinder is not good and the fine powder is too much, the flow rate will slow down, the overall brewing time will exceed two and a half minutes or even three minutes, the taste will be slightly turbid, the flavor is not obvious enough, if the coffee beans used are not good, there will even be astringency.
During the brewing process, water will be cut off to avoid overflowing the inner bag due to slow flow.
bean grinder cleaning
The impact on flavor is not only the degree of grinding, but also the cleanliness of the grinder.
99% of the commercial ear bags are deep-roasted, and you can imagine that 99% of the coffee ground by any foundry is also deep-roasted, so when we
When the light baked beans are subsequently ground at the foundry, the flavor may be affected by the previous deep baked batch.
Therefore, we strictly require the foundry to carefully clean the bean grinder before each grinding of our hanging ear batches. Not only that, our colleagues will come to the factory to check the cleanliness and cleaning of the bean grinder and supervise the overall grinding and packaging process.
Automatic packaging machine/filling nitrogen
The use of mechanical automatic packaging has two purposes, one is to improve the sealing effect of the outer packaging, and the other is to inject nitrogen (inertia gas) at the same time of packaging, so as to eliminate oxygen as much as possible, so that oxidation is not easy to occur, greatly extending the shelf life of coffee flavor.
If it is hand-packed and does not enter nitrogen, the shelf life may be only one month. If it is automatically packed and nitrogen is added, the shelf life can easily reach one year.
Prepare a simple teapot, go to the water heater in the pantry, fill it with boiling water that boils to 99 or 100 degrees, and when you return to your seat, that's the best brewing temperature, 93-94 degrees Celsius. Brew a carry-on bag in a minute and a half to two minutes and enjoy this delicious cup of coffee.

What is the function of a small hole in a coffee bean bag? Stop squeezing coffee bags to smell it!
If you have looked at the coffee bean bag, you will find that there is an object on the back that looks like a button, and there may be a small hole in it, called an "air valve". The purpose of this device is to remove carbon dioxide from the bean bag, because freshly roasted coffee beans have to be vented, which is more aptly said to feel like breathing. The function of the air valve is to help release carbon dioxide from coffee beans, so
