Introduction to the coffee producing area of Esp í rito Santo in Brazil
Espirito Santo is a small region compared to other Brazilian coffee producing regions. It is the second largest annual production area in the country, and the capital is the main export port. Yet nearly 80 percent of coffee trees belong to Robusta. In the south of the region, farmers are strongly involved in Arabica production, which has the potential to produce more interesting coffee.

Bahia Cerrado da Bahia is famous for its large-scale, industrial and artificially irrigated coffee.
