Nestle to launch plant-based beverage in Asian market Nestle plant-based coffee
On April 8, Nestl é said it would launch Milo Chocolate Milk, a plant-based beverage in Asia, which is one of Nestl é's latest plant-based innovations, replacing milk powder with soybeans and oats.

Nestl é said it plans to launch the products in more Asian markets.
In addition, Nestl é plans to launch a series of botanical lattes Nescaf é in Malaysia.

It is understood that Nestle botanical latte Nescaf é contains 6.5g of protein, low sugar and rich in vitamins and minerals.
At present, Nestl é has launched plant-based coffee mixed products in Europe, Latin America and Oceania (plant-based coffee refers to the replacement of dairy products in traditional coffee with plant protein ingredients).
Last August, Nestl é also developed a variety of coffee drinks based on plants.

Nestle Gold Nescaf é Gold instant coffee brand has also developed three plant-based lattes based on almonds, oats and coconuts on the basis of 17 existing coffees, which is also the world's first plant-based instant coffee.
According to Nestl é, the 100% Arabica coffee beans used in these three products are certified by the strict Vegetarian Association and are not only friendly to elastic vegetarians, but also suitable for strict vegetarians. Nestl é said at the time: it will continue to invest in this market to create more value for the brand and provide consumers with high-quality coffee products.

In early 2019, Nestl é also launched two ready-to-drink coffees, including cold cream lattes and coffee protein shakes.
This plant-based coffee contains 15 grams of protein and comes from oats and almonds. It comes in 11 ounces and is available in banana and mocha flavors. The coffee protein shake is made from 100% Colombian Arabica coffee, oats and almond butter.
As mentioned earlier, the coffee category in China is showing a rapid growth trend, with global bottled ready-to-drink coffee growing by $3.1 billion by 2022, according to Euromonitor International. Nowadays, new food and beverage products based on plants are becoming more and more popular among consumers. As a giant in the instant coffee industry, Nestle Coffee is the engine of Nestle's strategic growth. Nestle is adding more innovative and healthy botanical products to different product portfolios. The flavor fusion of "coffee + plant base" will further open up the Chinese coffee market for Nestle's two capsule coffees. And this may usher in a new wave of coffee in the coffee market.
