Darjeeling Black Tea is popular? Darjeeling Arya Arya Black Tea Brand recommendation
Arya Arya Tea Garden was founded in 1885 and was originally called "Sidrabong". According to legend, this tea garden was impressed by the scenery of the valley where the tea garden is located, which gave rise to the idea of planting tea trees and establishing tea gardens here, and later developed and cultivated different varieties of leaflet tea trees. Today, the houses where monks lived in the 19th century can be found in this tea garden.
The original factory was destroyed by a fire in May 1999, resulting in the construction of the new plant at a cost of $350000.
Geographical location
The Arya plantation starts at 1820 metres above sea level and extends downward to 900m, with an average elevation of about 1500 metres. It produces about 70 tons of tea a year, 30 tons less than before the manor became organic.
Some of its most famous teas are "gemstones" series, including ruby (black tea), emerald (green tea), pearl (white tea), diamond (small round head) and topaz (oolong tea). All of their gemstone teas are produced by special clones, mainly AV2 tea varieties grown at the highest point in the tea garden area. The output of these teas is usually very limited, and only a few dealers can get the goods from here. They also produce classic varieties of lobular tea labeled "FTGFOP1" and some special varieties of "musk tea" with musk grape flavor. Some new teas, such as Moonlight, are also of good quality produced by AV2, somewhere between diamond and ruby tea.
The terrain leading to the manor is extremely complex, often with a slope of up to 45 degrees, which makes it extremely difficult to drive there. Only the tea garden driver has enough experience to drive the terrain around the Arya tea garden. For inexperienced drivers, the monsoon season is very dangerous because the rain causes the road to be very slippery. During the winter months, all the manors in Darjeeling were dormant because of the extremely cold temperature, and it was not until February of the following year that they began to turn green again.

Arya Tea Estate operates in Calcutta under the name of Arya Tea Co. Ltd, which has been awarded IMO Control. Other organic certifications issued by the USDA are IMO and JAS. In addition, Arya is a certified member of Darjeeling Tea Association.
