How does Darjeeling black tea taste? how to drink Darjeeling black tea? the correct way to soak Darjeeling Tea in cold water
Darjeeling Tea is a delicious drink as iced tea. Suppose you were going to prepare a cup of Darjeeling iced tea, what would you do? Can you soak it and let it cool? If this is the case, the tea will not taste very good. With a little more effort, your Darjeeling iced tea will be very good. In this article, I would like to share how to make a delicious Darjeeling iced tea. The main points of preparing a cup of iced Darjeeling black tea are as follows: if you directly soak Darjeeling Tea in cold water, you will not be able to extract its flavor. The tea must be cooled at once. However, if the cooling time is too long, the flavor substances will be oxidized. When fresh water is used, the result is completely different from that of boiling water (after cooling). If you can do the above three things, you can make a good cup of Darjeeling iced tea.

Make tea in hot water. Black tea is fermented tea. Fermentation is equal to oxidation, and the affinity between oxidizing substance and water is small. Therefore, if the tea is brewed in cold water, you may not be able to fully enjoy its taste. Whether it's cold water or hot water, we all want to enjoy the coming strong taste, don't we? Therefore, please be sure to soak Darjeeling Tea with boiling water. Usually, we need about 5 grams of tea to prepare 1 liter of tea. However, we usually use 100-300 milliliters of water to make tea. Therefore, I recommend 200 milliliters of water, because if you use too little water, the temperature will drop too fast. Under normal drinking conditions, Darjeeling Tea's brewing time is less than one minute. However, to prepare to freeze Darjeeling Tea, it takes more than 5 minutes to brew until most of the substances that make up the taste and taste are extracted. Finally, you will get a very strong tea, which will be used as the basic tea for ice Darjeeling Tea. Do not give tea oxidation space if you want to make a liter of tea, it will take a long time for the tea to cool naturally. I think it may take more than an hour. When the tea is still warm, the flavor substances in the tea will be oxidized; when the tea cools completely, the color and taste will no longer be the same as the freshly brewed tea. Therefore, it is very important to accelerate the cooling process. So to make a liter of Darjeeling Tea, I have to prepare about 500ml of ice first. Then I poured 200ml Darjeeling strong tea on the ice and let it cool immediately. In this way, the tea will cool in a few minutes, while keeping the fresh taste and taste perfect. Finally, I will add some water to adjust the thickness to the ideal taste. The intensity of the taste varies depending on the amount of calcium in the water. So, with the right amount of water, 5 grams of tea can give you a liter, sometimes even 2 liters of iced tea with enough flavor. It depends on the type of water you use; if the water is rich in calcium and shows a strong body, you may be inclined to make more tea with the same amount of tea. Try not to use fresh water. Fresh water and boiled water taste different. Fresh water has a stronger aftertaste than boiled water. However, due to lack of body, fresh water tastes weaker than boiled water. For fermented tea like Darjeeling Tea, the body is a very important element when drinking tea. Please prepare ice cubes with boiled water and seasoned cold water. There is nothing wrong with preparing ice or cold water with fresh water; however, you can't fully taste it. Iced tea can be kept in the refrigerator for a few days. Darjeeling iced tea can last for several days; just keep it in the refrigerator. In my family, we often freeze Darjeeling iced tea in PET bottles. Whenever we travel, we take frozen Darjeeling Tea in PET bottles with us. The method is also suitable for making other chilled tea, such as oolong tea, white tea and so on.
