Guatemala's unique geographical conditions make it have natural environmental conditions suitable for coffee cultivation. There are eight coffee producing areas in the country, basically all of which are located on the highland topography under the subtropical climate. The hydrological conditions of different regions make each producing area have a unique flavor.
Antigua producing area (Antiqua)
Guatemala Antigua production area is 1500 meters above sea level, it is located near the summit of Agua and Fuego volcano, of which Fuego is an active volcano, irregular eruption so that the fertility of local soil samples will not decline. There are a large number of primitive deep forests in the producing area, and the soil is rich in potassium ions; stable precipitation and superior conditions make it considered a blessed place for coffee cultivation.
