Honduras is a Central American country with mild climate and abundant rainfall. 280000 hectares of land is used for coffee cultivation in the country, with small coffee plantations as units, each with an area of less than 3.5ha, but these coffee plantations account for 60 per cent of total coffee production in Honduras. The famous coffee estate is Moca Manor in the Massaguara region, which is located in the south of the Jes ú sdeOtoro valley in Honduras. The valley terrain has a natural shading effect on coffee cultivation, with an average elevation of 863 meters above sea level and more than 1500 meters at high elevations. Lychee orchid, sherry barrels and other coffee beans are produced here.

In terms of varieties, the origin of litchi orchid varieties, it contains Kaddura and Kaduai two coffee varieties, while Shirley barrel has more Pacas species than litchi orchid.

The most obvious difference between the two kinds of coffee beans lies in the treatment. Litchi orchid was treated by brandy barrel fermentation, while Shirley barrel was treated by whisky barrel fermentation. Both allow coffee beans to be washed and then put into caffeine for low-temperature fermentation, so that coffee beans are attached to the flavor of a wine barrel, and then dry in the shade.
