Korean cafe disinfectant epidemic prevention materials are used as syrup customers complain after drinking
Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic, people have gradually become more aware of epidemic prevention, and wearing masks has become a daily routine. Every household is filled with supplies such as medical alcohol, 84 disinfectant and hand-free disinfectant. Many coffee shops provide free syrup, but recently there has been a refreshing time in South Korea. In some coffee shops, the outer packaging of syrup is so similar to that of hand-free disinfectant that customers mistook it for syrup to add to their coffee.

In many coffee shops, these alcohol, disinfectant and other epidemic prevention materials are very important. There are usually one or two bottles of hand-free disinfectant next to the door of the shop, and even one bottle at the bar. It can be said that hand-washing-free disinfectant has become one of the daily supplies of restaurants.
The manager of a coffee shop in South Korea wrote an article in which customers mistook disinfectant for syrup into coffee and posted it online. With the advent of the holidays, people are more likely to go out to buy coffee, and such mistakes are more common to use disinfectant as syrup.
Seeing this, many people will think that it is the coffee shop manager's fault that this kind of incident will happen without guiding the customers. As everyone knows, in fact, the contents of the bottle have been marked with words on the syrup and the bottle of hand-free disinfectant.

The coffee shop manager also said: "clearly written 'disinfectant' words, customers do not look at it, but also do not think about their own mistakes." The guests themselves did not even wear a mask, but made some meaningless and unreasonable demands that they would sue the coffee shop. Even though the prompt was typed, the customers demanded an apology and compensation from the manager of the coffee shop.
Even though incidents such as "disinfectant as syrup" happened again and again, and the coffee shop staff apologized again and again, and even was scolded to tears, the coffee shop manager just continued to provide syrup and disinfectant to the public in a convenient location for the guests in accordance with the regulations of the headquarters.
According to the Korea Consumer Association, there were 69 cases related to hand-washing-free disinfectant in 2020, a 17-fold increase from four in 2019. Of these, 55 were confirmed to have caused damage to the body, and 20% (11 cases) caused damage to the digestive system by swallowing hand-washing-free disinfectant.

It has been more than two years since the outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic. People say it's nice not to wear masks before, and they are very honest in disinfecting and wearing masks day after day, year after year. As a public place, the coffee shop has contributed its own efforts in epidemic prevention, and many customers have expressed their support and cooperation.
The coffee shop will make the logo conspicuous so that customers can look at it twice before using it, so that both parties can enjoy the process of a cup of coffee more.
