In order to enjoy the best taste of coffee, the easiest way is to buy freshly roasted coffee beans and grind them every time you need to make coffee. If you buy coffee beans and grind them in the store, you should let the clerk know what kind of coffee machine you use at home, piston coffee maker, drip coffee maker or Italian coffee maker. Because different coffee machines need to use the coffee powder grinding degree is not the same! There are many kinds of bean grinders on the market, which are basically divided into two categories: one is cheaper with blades, and the other is grindstone, which is relatively expensive but can be ground more evenly. When you use a non-blade grinder, you need to switch on and off a few more times and pay attention to shaking evenly, otherwise the coffee will give off a scorched smell and produce other strange smells. There are three basic grinding methods for coffee beans: "rough grinding", "medium grinding" and "fine grinding".

Coffee can be made in a variety of ways, including siphon, trickling, distillation, filter bag, steam pressurized, cold water. But the most interesting and oriental way is siphon, which stems from the charm of oriental tea culture in Britain, in which there is a consensus on water quality, water temperature and time requirements.

1. In order to avoid bitterness, never boil coffee. The ideal temperature should be between 90 and 96 degrees Celsius (195 to 205 degrees Fahrenheit).

Don't heat the coffee again. It is recommended to determine how much to make according to the amount of drinking each time to ensure that you drink the freshest coffee. The temperature to maintain the best flavor of coffee is 86 degrees Celsius (185 degrees Fahrenheit).

3. Use fresh, cold water to make. The water content of each cup of coffee is 98%. If there is a strange smell in the water, consider using filtered or bottled water.

4. The used coffee powder should not be used again. These are the leftovers of coffee, which only contain bitter ingredients.

5. Select the coffee powder with the corresponding grinding degree according to the coffee maker. If the coffee is ground too fine, it can cause over-extraction and bitterness, or clog the coffee maker. Grinding too rough will cause the coffee to be as light as water. If a coffee drip filter is used, proper grinding should ensure that the coffee is dripped within two to four minutes.

6. We recommend that you make every 10 grams (two tablespoons) of coffee powder with 180 milliliters (6 ounces) of water. No matter how much coffee you make, you should stick to this ratio. Of course, you can adjust this ratio according to your own taste. But keep in mind that too fine grinding or too little coffee will only make the coffee taste thin and bitter.

7. Keep the coffee on the stove for up to 20 minutes. Over time, the flavor will change. The use of vacuum flask can keep the flavor of coffee for a long time.
