The whole family convenience store opened a coffee shop! Let's Caf é, the family's coffee brand, has been in the coffee field for 16 years, and now the family's first independent coffee experience store has been officially opened, which is a step forward in the coffee field.
Let's Cafe PLUS, located at 71 Zhongshan North Road, Taipei, opened its first independent coffee experience store on December 22nd. It is understood that the current business hours are from 07:30 to 9 p.m., after these days of trial business, it will enter the official business phase on December 26.
Founded in 1972, the whole family convenience store is a Japanese chain convenience store group that mainly sells common products in Japanese convenience stores, including drinks, snacks, bento, magazines and comics. In August 1988, the whole family convenience store entered Taiwan and was established in Zhongshan District, Taipei City. The store was established by a joint venture between FamilyMart of Japan and Hofeng Enterprise Group of Taiwan.
The launch of Let's Caf é, a coffee brand launched by the whole family convenience store in Taiwan in 2006, and Let's Cafe coffee launched by the whole family in mainland China, is a further sign of CITY CAFE, which is owned by 7-ELEVEn, another supermarket brand that is close to the whole family.
In 2018, the Chinese Taiwan family opened its first Let's Caf é flagship store in Taipei with the goal of creating a "convenience store in a cafe", but it is a fast coffee shop attached to the family convenience store.
Let's Caf é flagship stores specifically aim at urban consumers' demand for coffee taste and light food space, in addition to introducing individual beans available in general boutique coffee shops, such as Yega Chuefei, Gold Manning, Alishan and so on. What's more, it spends a lot of money to import the "coffee master" professional hand-brewing coffee machine and the foam coffee machine patented by UCC.
It is understood that at present, the annual sales of Let's coffee in Taiwan has reached 160 million cups, and its goal is to reach annual sales of 200 million cups by 2023, and the annual growth rate of individual coffee should reach 15% to 20%. Years of deep cultivation and amazing sales have given the brand enough strength to open independent stores.
The design of the Let's Caf é PLUS store does not show the green of the whole family convenience store at all, but uses the dark blue as the main color, which is the brand color of Let's Caf é. The store covers an area of more than 130 square meters and provides 30 locations. The interior space is square and bright, and the wood elements are widely used. It is an atmosphere that makes people want to sit for a while.
There are many series of individual coffee, ice drop, sparkling coffee, American style, honey American style and single Yega Xuefei and wine mixing cafe, the price of each product is NT $80-500 (RMB 18-115), and the daily American style and latte are only NT $100 or 130, which are normal prices.
The most expensive coffee drink is NT $500. This coffee can be said to be very rare. It is a limited amount of ice drop coffee. The beans used are called "Taiwan Yunlin Gukeng Geisha" and are supplied in limited quantities every day. If you want this kind of beans to make a hot drink of Didi coffee, it will cost NT $400.
Of course, it doesn't matter if you don't like coffee, the store also offers a variety of Dangning tea, as well as fresh fruit shakes and milk drinks, such as blueberry banana milk shake, season limited strawberry milk shake and so on. The dairy products used are all small farmers' fresh milk.
In the light section, there are nearly 30 options, such as mellow muffins, chocolate, prince cheese, Krave, salad and sandwiches, with prices in the range of NT $70-250 (RMB 15-60).
Let's Caf é PLUS also continues the core concept of environmental protection of the whole family convenience store, offering environmental protection measures such as free rental of take-out circular cups, discounts on their own environmental cups, and green straws for wheat.
