What are the factors that affect the brewing time of coffee? How long does it take to make coffee by hand?
Extraction time is an important parameter for hand-brewed coffee, but it can not be set independently like other parameters, and it depends on the parameters that can affect the extraction time to reach a reasonable time range. Therefore, whether the extraction time is reasonable or not also reflects the rationality of these parameters. So what are the parameters that affect the extraction time?
In the way of water injection, many friends will ask what is the standard time for making a cup of coffee in Qianjie. In fact, the extraction time standards of different water injection methods are different, assuming that they are all based on the amount of 15g powder. The extraction time of one-cut flow of water injection after steaming is about 1 minute and 40 seconds, while the extraction time of three-knife flow of three stages of water injection after steaming is about 2 minutes and 10 seconds.
When using the same water injection method to make coffee, the extraction time becomes meaningful. For example, when buying coffee beans, the store usually comes with brewing advice. If you brew coffee according to the recommended parameters, the extraction time is very different from the time provided by the store, then there may be a problem with water injection. If the water injection flow is large, the extraction time may be shortened; if the water injection flow is small, the extraction time may be prolonged. Therefore, the water injection can be adjusted with reference to the difference of extraction time. The more the amount of powder, the more the amount of water injected under the same ratio of powder to water, and the extraction time will be prolonged accordingly. For example, it takes longer to brew 20 grams of powder than 15 grams of powder. The extraction time of using three-stage brewing 15g powder in Qianjie is about 2 minutes; the extraction time of brewing 20g powder in the same way is about 2 minutes and 30 seconds.
The ratio of powder to water is a parameter that directly affects the total amount of water injected. The more the total amount of water injected, the longer the extraction time. Similarly, take 15 grams of coffee powder as an example, if you use the powder-water ratio of 1:15, that is, the water injection is 225ml, the extraction time is about 2 minutes when using three-stage brewing; if you use 1:18, the water injection is 270ml, and the extraction time is about 2 minutes and 30 seconds when brewing in the same way.
The thickness of grinded coffee particles will affect the extraction time of hand-brewed coffee. Coffee powder particles play a role in blocking water in the filter cup. When coffee powder is ground thicker, the gap between coffee powder is larger, and the water will pass faster, so the extraction time will be shorter accordingly.
When the coffee powder is ground finer, the gap between the coffee powder is relatively narrow, and the water passes through more slowly, so the extraction time will be longer accordingly. As we all know, the grinding degree of hand-brewed coffee should not be too thick, nor should it be too fine, but how coarse it is, many businesses only give ambiguous answers such as "the size of coarse sugar". However, if combined with the extraction time provided by the merchant, the grinding fineness of coffee powder can be determined more accurately.

The function and characteristics of pre-soaking Italian Coffee do you need steaming to make Italian concentration
Steaming is a very important process in hand-brewed coffee. It is no exaggeration to say that if you cancel the steaming step, it will add a lot of uncertainty to the hand-brewed coffee, and it may be difficult for even brewers to predict the flavor direction of the coffee. If you have friends, you are curious, and your hands are bored with making coffee.

The reason why the hanging-ear coffee is too light to taste what's the difference between the hanging-ear coffee and the hand-made coffee?
There are many similarities between the two brewing methods of hanging-ear coffee and hand-made coffee. But for the same kind of coffee beans, hand-brewed coffee tastes better than hanging-ear coffee. There are two main reasons why the coffee brewed from hanging-ear coffee is not as good as hand-brewed coffee. One is that hanging-ear coffee is a pre-ground coffee powder.
