Costa Rica Costa Rica, which means "fertile bay" in Spanish, is rich in volcanic soil, coupled with the influence of Pacific currents and monsoons, as well as the high altitude of the mountain environment, Costa Rica has a unique microclimate, providing excellent conditions for growing coffee.

Costa Rica introduced coffee beans from Cuba since the early 18th century and became the first country in Central America to grow coffee and the first to grow coffee because of its commercial value. Thanks to Costa Rica's relatively developed economy and economic foundation, Costa Rica's coffee production is also among the forefront in the world, with excellent coffee quality, research and innovation in new varieties and treatments, as well as the improvement of infrastructure, to support the development of the country's coffee industry. And the Costa Rican government believes that only the production of high-quality Arabica coffee beans can gain a foothold in the market, so a law has been passed to prohibit the cultivation of Robusta varieties of coffee.

Therefore, there are many well-known coffee estates in Costa Rica, such as Cedar Manor (El Cedro), Blue Volcano Manor (Volcan Azul) and so on. However, many well-known estates in Costa Rica are basically in Tarrazu, the largest and best-known coffee producing area in the country. The producing area is located in central Costa Rica, is a volcanic area, surrounded by a number of mountains and national parks, humid climate and volcanic soil, providing a unique planting environment for coffee growth.

The Tarrazu producing area has a long history of coffee cultivation, and Costa Rica attaches great importance to the development of the coffee industry in this area, so in 2019, the Costa Rican government registered with the European Union and the World intellectual property Organization (WIPO) "Caf é de Tarraz ú" as a coffee origin certification. Qianjie coffee rations bean series also includes this well-known producing area. This entry-level selection of Tarazhu coffee beans is made in Catuai and Kaddura varieties, washed with water and grade SHB, boiled with slightly sour, orange, nutty and honey flavors.

In addition to Tarrazu, the country is divided into seven coffee producing areas, all in the Cordillera Mountains of central Costa Rica. Although other coffee producing areas are not as famous as Tarazu, they can also produce high quality coffee beans, and there are also many famous estates, such as Finca Las Piedra in the Brunca producing area.

The owner of Stonehenge Manor Finca Las Piedra is Gerardo Arias, and coffee has been with him for the rest of his life. Gerardo Arias's family is an ancestral cannon, his parents work in the Llano Bonito cooperative, and the family owns 1.24 hectares of land. But at that time, the price of coffee was not high and could not support the family. So Gerardo10 dropped out of school to help his family grow coffee until adulthood.

However, in adulthood, he found that his knowledge was limited, so he smuggled to New Jersey in the United States and experienced a lot of training. Eight years later, he saved enough money to go back to Costa Rica to buy his parents' estate, and overseas experiences made Gerardo broaden his horizons and began to implement modern agricultural layout and cultivation of the manor, and then continued to introduce new planting and processing techniques to improve the quality of coffee cultivation.

Stonehenge Manor is located in the Bronka producing area, which is located in the south of Costa Rica. It connects Panama because of the topography. Between the two peaks of Cerro de la Muerte and Cerro Chirripo, the Cerro Chirripo Mountains are the highest volcanic peaks in Costa Rica. Coffee is grown on slopes of 800-1700 meters and has a humid tropical climate. The soil in which coffee is grown is made of red mud and plaster. Therefore, the coffee beans produced here not only have a high density of beans, but also have a superior sense of sweetness.

Stonehenge Manor is named Stonehenge Manor because it has unearthed aboriginal stone carvings from 200 to 1500 BC, which is called Secret Stone Ball. At present, the manor grows many varieties of coffee, such as Catuai, Kaddura, Geisha and F1, etc.
