In 1258, Sheikh Omar, who was deported by his people for crime, was exhausted and hungry when he wandered to Vasaba (in Arabia).

When he sat under the tree to rest, he saw a bird coming, pecking at the fruit on the branch, and then jumped up and down happily and tore his throat open to sing. The chief had never heard such a beautiful birdsong, and he was a little intoxicated.

He found that after eating the fruit of the tree, the bird was not poisoned, but more energetic. Out of curiosity, he picked some and put it into the pot to boil it with water. The boiled water unexpectedly exudes a strong fragrance and tastes delicious to drink. Most of the hunger immediately goes away, and the tired body and mind is also invigorated. So he picked many of these miraculous fruits and made soup for them whenever there were patients. Because of his good deeds everywhere and with remarkable results, he finally became famous, and the Lian people knew about his deeds, so they forgave him for his crimes, allowed him to return to his hometown of Mocha, and respected him as a "saint".

This discovery finally brought wonderful coffee enjoyment to people all over the world.
