Analysts said that the decline in mining production in Guinea in the first half of this year was mainly caused by the impact of the Ebola epidemic, in addition to slow reform and difficulties in the world economy.

According to the Guinean Ministry of Finance, only 2761 tons of coffee were produced in Guinea this year, compared with 5796 tons last year. According to the Guinean Ministry of Finance, the main reason for the decline in coffee production is that Ivorian manufacturers are unwilling to sell coffee from three Ebola-affected areas, including Lola, Beira and Kankan.
