Japanese Hyogo Cafe

Hiroichi Kimura designed a cafe in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan, referring to a church building with a concrete spire. Some of the walls are exposed concrete, others are whitewashed. The asymmetrical roof slowly rises until it intersects the straight tower. "because of its dynamic roof, the facade of the cafe looks more like a hall or church, making the building look like a symbol." The architect explained.
