BROMPTON and Rough Trade were born in West London in the 1970s. The former is the representative of British craftsmanship, the folding bike that has been built for 40 years, from the ordinary office worker to the British prime minister is its admirer, while the latter is the independent record label that promoted the development of early punk and independent pop culture. Recently, two British brands completed a cross-border collaboration in Brooklyn, New York, moving BROMPTON bikes into Rough Trade NYC's record store, but when everyone thought the London folding bike brand was on sale in the record store, BROMPTON announced that no bikes were sold in the store, selling only BROMPTON coffee, which was accompanied by music provided by Rough Trade, of course. In the Rough Trade NYC, which covers an area of about 1700 square meters, BROMPTON displays the parts from the British factory like works of art and the photos of BROMPTON World Carnival over the years, so that the whole space is filled with the smell of coffee and metal parts. Black plastic discs, bicycles, coffee, I can't think of anything more suitable for the atmosphere of Brooklyn.
