55 farmers in Qiongzhong were certified as baristas.

Changxing Village in Qiongzhong has always had a tradition of growing coffee. In July 2013, Qiongzhong Feishui Organic Coffee Professional Cooperative was established. In 2014, the cooperative coffee production and marketing income reached more than 200,000 yuan.

On May 4 this year, Qiongzhong Employment Bureau held the first national training course for primary baristas in Changxing Village, Heping Town, which has a good foundation for coffee cultivation, production and marketing. In the 21-day theoretical and practical study, 69 farmers from Diaoluoshan Township, Yinggen Town and Heping Town of the county mainly learned about coffee tasting lessons from all over the world, siphon pot operation training, punch pot coffee making, coffee etiquette and so on.

On June 7, 69 farmers took part in the Hainan Provincial Vocational skills Identification examination (baristas), and 55 were certified as national junior baristas.

It is understood that after the certificate is issued, these 55 people will be recommended to work in well-known cafes and coffee trading companies in Haikou, Sanya and other places.
