Chinanews.com, Xining, Sept. 11 (Sun Rui) on the morning of the 11th, Starbucks Coffee, a world coffee brand that was one of the investment promotion projects in Xining in 2015, landed in the ancient city of Xining on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. This is also the first time that Starbucks Coffee has landed on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
As the main outcome of the 2015 Green Development Investment and Trade negotiations in Qinghai, Starbucks Coffee, Haagen-Dazs Ice Cream and other well-known brands signed a cooperation agreement with Xining Municipal Government to enter Xining.
Bai Yueqin, deputy director of the Xining Municipal Bureau of Commerce, said in an interview with Chinanews.com that in recent years, Xining has persisted in speeding up project construction by opening wider to the outside world and attracting investment, readjusting the economic structure, strengthening the staying power of regional development, and improving the taste of the city, constantly optimizing the environment for economic development, and striving to create a good atmosphere for investment and entrepreneurship. At present, Xining has successfully introduced Pizza Hut, Grand Runfa, Starbucks and other well-known brands at home and abroad, which has injected new vitality into the commercial development of the city.
"the establishment of world brands such as Starbucks and Haagen-Dazs in Xining will not only bring delicious food, coffee and quality service to the people of Xining, but also improve the taste of Xining city. it has also played a positive role in promoting the development of trade and circulation in Xining." Bai Yueqin said.
