Coffee cup size is roughly divided into three types.
There are roughly three sizes of coffee cups. The smaller the coffee cup is, the stronger the coffee is: 1. The smallest coffee cup is called the espresso cup, which is 50ml-80ml and suitable for tasting pure quality coffee or strong individual coffee. 2. The medium cup, also known as the Cappuccino cup, is the most commonly used. This kind of coffee cup is 120ml-140ml in size, leaving room for people to mix, such as adding milk and sugar. 3, the largest coffee cup, also known as 300ml cup, this kind of coffee cup size is more than Latte, generally used to add a lot of milk or milk foam.
It is easy for people to understand the meaning of short, tall and grand cups in coffee chains, but they don't quite understand the names of oversized cups such as venti, trenta and alto. These words all come from Italian, and most of these coffee cups refer to oz (ounce) sizes. Venti means "20" in Italian, trenta means "30", and alto means "big".
When people choose and buy coffee cups, they are often unable to correctly distinguish between coffee cups and black teacups. Usually, in order to spread the aroma of black tea and appreciate the color of black tea, the bottom of the cup is lighter, the mouth is wider, and the light transmittance is higher, while the coffee cup has a narrower mouth, thicker material and low light transmittance. Coffee cups are generally ceramic cups and porcelain cups. Ceramic cups are suitable for coffee with deep baking and strong taste, while porcelain cups are suitable for coffee with a lighter taste.
Many coffee fans like to collect all kinds of coffee cups, so powerful coffee brands will continue to launch specially designed cups for fans to collect. For example, every year illy works with different designers to launch specially designed cups. Hong Kong star Chen Hao is a fan of illy coffee cups and will buy them at first sight. Jackie Chan is also a fan of world-class famous porcelain coffee cups. It is said that the collection has reached more than 600 sets.
