Melbourne, known as the "coffee capital", has no shortage of individual coffee shops. For locals, coffee houses are places where you can sit for a while every day, kill time and connect with each other. "Do you want to have a cup of coffee?" It is already a greeting, and many locals have their own shops.

Kitty Burns, a new cafe in Melbourne's Abbotsford district, has a fresh and homey atmosphere. The indoor space is bright and open, with a large number of light-colored wooden furniture, a cabin with wooden walls, tables, chairs and wooden frames, with soft light and green potted plants, looking fresh and pleasant.

Biasol: Design Studio, the studio in charge of interior design, has designed a number of restaurants, but the 6-meter height of this Kitty Burns is still a thorny problem. Instead of making a mezzanine in the middle, they left the gap. A large piece of floor-to-ceiling glass is installed on the wall facing the street, allowing the sun to shine directly through the glass wall equivalent to two floors.

In addition, they built a wooden frame cabin in the center to distract attention. A simple frame seems to appear only in children's paintings, with more kindness and childishness.

In fact, this is a bar space, which happens to be separated from the surrounding coffee area without being obtrusive.

Corresponding to the cabin in the middle, the walls are also made into the shape of a cabin, with the outline of a sloping roof and square hollowed-out windows. The wood is also used to make a concave and convex grain similar to the roof, so that the wall has a depth change.

The top is filled with green plants to feel like a garden.

The cubicle with a cabin frame only hangs a small lamp on the "beam", which has a warm atmosphere of home.
