In 2009, I entered the workplace for the first time, and my office is in the New World Trade Building. The cramped salary makes most of the lunch can only be solved in Wansong Garden, but this does not stop the yearning for LOFT Commercial Street one street away. Besides, it had a nice name, Garden Road.
How do you describe this place? As legendary as the hostess, it is the various trends led here. Wuhan City's first Dongtian modeling starts from here, Wuhan City's only Starbucks with a super-large terrace is located here, and the most recent legendary founder is a Korean barbecue restaurant, accompanied by BigBang rolling MV waiting for 4 hours to flip the green tile charcoal, forming the daily life of Garden Road.

However, those years, I was an outsider, and what impressed me more was the appearance of the park. Black and white is the main color, frequently used large glass windows, transparent and direct, looking out from the shop, spring is like a painting. Later, I learned that the park designer was a Japanese, Takashi Ito. Coming from the distinguished Yidong family, he studied under Isozaki Xin. Garden Road is his first work in Wuhan. He transformed eight 80-year-old auto repair workshops into a modern commercial street by the northwest lake.
Later, Garden Road became my daily routine, and the changes here never stopped. In addition to the updated new store, there are some warm details left in the memory, such as Christmas lights. The neon lights were overhead, and the leaves were under their feet. The neon lights were not long, and there was no excessive excitement. Just like the entire park, they were small and beautiful, just right.
If you pay attention, you will find that Garden Road has changed the most since last year. From Hai Lang Xing (the glass hut) to Nuoyi Restaurant Bar, Qingshi Jiugong and Qingtiantan, the label here has become more vivid: the coverage leads to quality life more widely.
A friend said that the reason for liking Garden Road is very simple, because some shops can only be found here, such as love bars with ice brothers, such as medieval famous shops with beautiful windows.
In 2015, I spent two afternoons visiting six new stores on Garden Road. What kind of lifestyle will they connect? If you are interested, you may want to look down.

In Wuhan, I found a place 90% similar to the suit shop in Ace Agent, and only here.
Only European fabrics are available in the store, all from Britain and Italy, from Zegna, which you know well, to Loro Piana(this Italian worsted brand has just been acquired by LVMH for 2 billion euros); the old master comes from Shanghai and is good at British style. The waiting time is at least one month from ordering to getting the finished product.
The boss is a post-80s girl, a returnee, and a former media person. Resigned to study in England, completely fell in love with Savile Street's exquisite, returned home to open this shop. The new store had been open for less than a month, and she had seen it: men were less worried about buying clothes than women. Some people paced back and forth for an hour just to decide on the fabric of a suit.
But she was happy to see that change. The world will be a better place when uncle replaces small fresh meat as the public aesthetic.

The French name of the shop was not intended to be pretty, but the male owner was French. The tall man with the apron behind the counter was him.
The male owner is Jonathan, from Metz, France. His grandparents opened the first traditional heavy cheesecake in Metz. Without complex framing, they sold 8 classics. The hostess, surnamed Xie, worked as a public relations officer in Beijing for 2 years, where she met Jonathan and fell in love. Later, Miss Xie decided to return to Han to open a dessert shop, and Jonathan, who was infatuated, came along.
The dessert shop didn't have a big door, and the decoration was simple, but it was especially warm. Jonathan is responsible for cheese production, Miss Xie is responsible for cake framing and daily life. Jonathan doesn't speak Chinese, Miss Xie doesn't speak French, and they communicate in English. When talking about Jonathan, Miss Xie's impression is "Cancer, especially at home", and her smile is almost overflowing when she speaks.
There are about 20 cakes in the shop, all cheese. From traditional New York heavy cheese to improved varieties with durian, mango and blueberry. Delicate taste, aftertaste has a clear milk fragrance, not greasy.

Bounty is not a new store. The first Bounty opened on Wuding Road in Shanghai seven years ago. Wuhan is the third in China. The owners were two Frenchmen, one of whom had been a chef in the bakery for many years and was very particular about food. So, as a French restaurant, Bounty's meals are rich enough, from appetizing cheese platters to raw mussels and oysters to spaghetti sirloin. In addition, Bounty also has the most complete rum in Wuhan, with more than 70 kinds of single products, not counting Bounty's self-made flavor rum.
The dining bar was small in size, and the seats were all made of aluminum stools. It was simple and rough. It belonged to the place where old men drank and chatted. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were available. If you're a real Westerner, you'll probably love it.

You've probably heard of this restaurant, because it's fantastic. Twelve giant projectors project ink images onto the dining room dome (the zenith is deliberately curved for visual beauty), which does have the feeling of eating in the deep sea.
The boss made a full sense of ceremony in order to make "steamed seafood" accepted by more people. If you know Wuhan people have multiple mouths, you know how many kinds of seafood shops there are. Also eat seafood, but eat special method: upper and lower two pots, below put seafood, ribs, corn, above the release of seafood, open fire cover steamed. After a round of seafood is eaten, the steam will gather in the pot below and cook into a pot of delicious seafood soup. If you still have an appetite, you can continue to rinse it with seafood soup base.
Three dishes of dipping sauce (seafood, soy sauce, chopped pepper), homemade, chef reminded "shell suitable for seafood sauce". There are no hot processed dishes in the store. The staple food is fried rice and quicksand buns (also steamed), which are healthy enough.

This is an old shop on Garden Road, which is fully upgraded. The location is opposite to the old shop (before it was EF).
The store expanded to 400 square meters, 25 scattered tables and 8 private rooms. Three of them can be opened and can accommodate 30 people at the same time. The menu has also changed slightly. The signature sashimi sushi has not changed. The newly added chicken chops with pepper, lamb chops with seven flavors and avocado soft shell crab rolls are recommended by the boss.
