Light green unroasted Toraja Indonesian coffee beans, round and full

Every barrel of Toraja Indonesian coffee beans has a birth number.

Coffee beans are usually half lentils (left), tonaga beans are full (right).

This 1.5 kg bucket of Indonesian Toraja coffee beans costs HK$2,000.

Origin:

Toraja mountain area in the south of Indonesia Sulawesi (South Sulawesi), 1700 meters above sea level, belongs to alpine volcanic terrain, with sufficient sun, large temperature difference between day and night, and normal temperature maintained at 24℃~25℃. Because of the volcanic, weakly acidic soils of the fertile tropical highlands, high-quality arabica beans are grown.

Toraja coffee beans are very similar in appearance to Sumatra mantnin coffee, with full grains. Treated by Indonesian traditional natural process/semi-washing method. The best Toraja coffee beans come from Kalosi estate (Kalosi), with an annual output of only 3000 barrels, each barrel has a code, and each barrel containing coffee beans is carved by hand. It is the only handicraft in the world and very expensive.

This Indonesian coffee has a rich aroma, a low acidity with a fresh earthy taste and a long throat that provokes coffee lovers. Coffee became famous all over the world as a gift from the Indonesian government to the European Union.
