The three main types of coffee

1. Because the coffee tree itself is very sensitive to heat and humidity, it is suitable for planting on hillsides with good displacement from 1000 meters to 2000 meters above sea level. The growing climate should not be too humid, but it still requires a continuous rainy season and abundant rainfall. During the day, they like mild temperatures and less than two hours of direct sunshine, so local farmers have to plant many tall plants that do not take nutrients from the coffee trees to shade the coffee trees. At night, they want to have about ten degrees Celsius, but the temperature should not be too low, because too warm will make the coffee berries grow too fast to produce small, strong, hard and high-quality coffee beans: in case it is too cold to frost, the coffee trees will freeze to death. The caffeine content of this variety is low (1.1 MUR 1.7%). The higher the altitude, the better the quality of the baked coffee beans. With these characteristics, the promised land suitable for growing coffee in Arabica is mostly located in countries with alpine terrain between the Tropic of Cancer, which is also known as the coffee belt (COFFEE ZONE/ COFFEE BEIT).

2. Romda species (ROBUSTA), which accounts for about 20% to 30% of the world's output.

3. Libyan species (LIBERICA)-the taste is too sour, easy to get insect pests, only for research.
