Coffee export in Pu'er reached an all-time high in the first half of the year.

According to introduction, Pu 'er City currently coffee planting area of more than 400,000 mu, coffee bean output of about 35,000 tons, planting area and output accounted for more than half of the country. However, in recent years, exports have been around 13,000 tons a year, less than half of annual production. In view of this situation, Puer Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau has carried out work around the central work of the municipal government, changed supervision to service, focused on serving the development of local foreign trade and economic cooperation, helping export enterprises improve product quality and creating green brands. The bureau selected inspection and quarantine cadres with strong business ability and rich experience, led by party members, to go deep into coffee export enterprises. While helping them establish quality management system, it adopted the method of one enterprise, one policy, one project and one-stop service to further strengthen the awareness of quality responsibility and improve the quality of coffee products. At the same time, according to the relevant requirements and standards of importing countries for imported coffee beans, training courses have been held to publicize the relevant policies and regulations of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area preferential certificate of origin, guide enterprises to make good use of preferential tariff policies, and let coffee exporting enterprises deeply understand and be familiar with the relevant requirements and standards of importing countries for imported coffee beans. In harvest season, inspection and quarantine cadres also go deep into coffee base, supervise from the source, guide enterprises from coffee fresh fruit picking, peeling, degumming and other processing links to operate strictly according to regulations to ensure product quality.

Due to the improvement of coffee bean quality, the export volume of coffee beans has increased sharply, and the export market is also expanding. Pu 'er coffee has been exported to the United States, Japan, Australia and other countries as well as Europe, Middle East and other regions in the first half of the year.
