There's a slight twist to this recipe. If you don't like cream floating on ice, you can replace cream and sugar with condensed milk, first at the bottom of the glass, then coffee, preferably ice. If you go to Thailand, you often see this practice, but the difference is that Thais still put floating cream on the ice.
To make the coffee stronger, some people also mix the coffee powder with cardamom and put it in the espresso pot to make espresso coffee.
