Classification of coffee according to Chinese national standards

First, small seed coffee, that is, Arabian species, native to Ethiopia, is the main pick and cultivation species in the world. China is mainly distributed in Yunnan and Zhanjiang, Guangdong. This kind of cold-resistant, drought-resistant, mellow product smell, good drinking quality, but easy to infect leaf rust.

Second, medium-grain coffee, that is, Robusta, commonly known as native to the African Congo rainforest. Picking culture and area are second only to small seed species, mainly in Hainan Province. This species is not tolerant to strong light, wind, drought and cold resistance. But it has strong disease resistance and is not easy to be infected with leaf rust. The product has strong drinking flavor and strong irritation.

Third, large-grain coffee, that is, Liberika, is almost unused in the market.

Fourth, Ethel sa, native to the Charlie River Basin in West Africa.

Fifth, Alabata species is a new species bred by the cross between tetraploid seed coffee and small seed coffee, which was treated with colchicine in 1962 in C ô te d'Ivoire, Africa.
