Since the establishment of Starbucks Love Yunnan Coffee Joint Venture with Starbucks in 2011, with the help of Starbucks and Yunnan provincial government, 33 high-quality coffee varieties such as Rosa, Bobang, Kaddura, Kaduai, Tippika, Verasage and Regina have been introduced from the main global coffee producing areas and planted in Aiyi Manor, and the World Coffee Expo Park has been established. The project has also been established and supported by the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, and the Department of Agriculture of Yunnan Province has also given strong support.

Liu Minghui, chairman of Aichang Group, said that Aiyi Manor, located in Manzhongtian Village, Simao District, Pu'er City, is located in the golden zone of coffee cultivation in the world, with similar latitudes, altitude, planting conditions and climate to the Blue Mountains of Jamaica. The plateau rainforest along the Lancang River is shrouded in clouds all the year round. It has persisted in sustainable ecological development and rainforest coffee cultivation for 30 years. In June 2015, it was awarded international rainforest certification and alliance certification. Starbucks Yunnan coffee experimental field is also chosen here. After five years of breeding and planting, Rosa has been fully put into production in 2015.

At the beginning of this year, Aixing Group sent samples of new coffee varieties produced in Yunnan to the United States, inviting the world coffee industry leader, former chairman of the American Fine Coffee Association and one of the founders of the Coffee quality Research Institute to test the Ted Ringer Cup. Rose Xia got the highest score of 87 points. At the beginning of 2016, JeremyWakeford, a coffee master with 50 years of international cup testing experience, was specially invited to Aiyi Manor from Europe to evaluate and evaluate a number of coffee varieties as a whole, as well as the cup test by BBA, a famous French coffee cup tester. The results are highly consistent with Ted's cup test results.

Rosa has the same pronunciation as a Japanese geisha, so it is also known as "geisha coffee". The seeds were found in the rose summer forest of Ethiopia in 1931. From obscurity to its export to Kenya, Tanzania and Costa Rica, it became a blockbuster after moving to Panama in the 1970s, winning the cup test championship for many years in a row, defeating the victorious armies such as Bobang, Kaddura, Kaduai, Itsuka and so on. It also set a record for the highest price of race beans in history, and has become the new king of boutique coffee.

Ma Chi said that at present, China's coffee consumer market is gradually expanding, especially consumers love minority boutique coffee. The successful introduction of Rosa Rosa meets the needs of farmers, markets and industries, which can adjust the variety structure of coffee in Yunnan and increase the income of farmers. (end)
