Since its opening, the cafe has been greatly welcomed by Tripoli women. Coupled with its location in the busy commercial area of the city center, the packed scene of the cafe is often visible.

The cafe owner, a local man named Jalal, told reporters that the purpose of opening the cafe was to give women an exclusive space for them to chat, party and relax. He said he had the idea of opening a women's cafe as early as Gaddafi's rule, but for various reasons, he could not obtain a business license until after the fall of Gaddafi's regime, which he obtained in 2012.

A woman named Hana said in an interview that she was a regular customer of the cafe. She and her female friends chose it as their gathering place every time. She believed that the cafe was not just a restaurant or leisure place, but also a social club for women."Although there are many traditions to live in Islamic society, we sometimes need freedom and independence. That's why we like to come here."
