Nestl é is the first multinational company to invest in agriculture in southwest China. It has been adhering to the management concept of "creating shared value" and is committed to working with relevant departments from the central to local governments to jointly promote the industrialization of coffee. Through the cooperation of many parties, the coffee industry in Yunnan has made great progress, and has gradually become a high-quality small-seed coffee bean producing area with vigorous development, rich profits and deeply concerned by the global coffee industry. Not only that, Nestl é also makes a lot of efforts in coffee brand building and cultural development. Nestle's coffee development project in Yunnan has won recognition from all walks of life, won the United Nations "2012 World Business and Development Award", and was awarded the United Nations "2012 Global Compact China Best practices" in the same year. At present, all the coffee beans purchased by Nestl é have passed 4C certification, which has laid the foundation for the long-term sustainable development of Pu'er coffee. The Nestle Coffee Center, which integrates training, experiment and warehousing, was completed and used in March 2016. Nestle Coffee Dolce Gusto capsule coffee maker has been gradually understood and loved by Chinese consumers since it was launched in the Chinese mainland market in 2013. Currently, the brand has set up 29 counters in Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou and Shenzhen, and is also promoting the 2014-2015 procurement season on e-commerce platforms such as Tmall and JD.com. Nestl é Pu'er Agronomy Department received a special task from the Swiss headquarters: to purchase a batch of high-quality coffee beans to make Dolce Gusto Yunnan limited edition espresso. According to the supply situation of coffee suppliers in recent years, Nestl é traced the quality of coffee, evaluated the level of coffee endoplasm and the stability of coffee quality in these years, and finally locked more than 10 planting bases. Under the advice and guidance of Nestl é coffee agronomists, farmers choose the best fresh fruits in the coffee base, from peeling, degumming, soaking, drying, shelling and grading to screening. In the end, seven suppliers won, two from Xishuangbanna and five from Pu'er. According to the introduction, this coffee is mainly designed to adapt to the Nestle Dolce Gusto capsule coffee machine. Dolce Gusto capsule coffee maker uses innovative technology to create a new coffee experience for consumers. This time, Nestl é presented to the majority of consumers a limited edition of Yunnan espresso with local raw materials to make the drinking experience more meaningful. This is the result of the hard work of local coffee agronomists in Yunnan and Nestle. It is precisely because they continue to improve the planting technology, improve the quality of coffee beans, and grow in a sustainable way, in exchange for such mellow coffee products.
