When can I drink roasted coffee beans?

Tin cans can keep the aroma of coffee for a long time. Plastic bags are fine, but they store less than tin cans. In foreign countries, coffee beans are sometimes sold in tin cans or plastic bags. Vacuum packaging is more conducive to the storage of coffee, making the original flavor more lasting.

Once you open an oil-proof or tin foil-wrapped coffee bag, immediately put the coffee beans or coffee powder in a sealed can; the coffee powder will not get moldy quickly, but will absorb the smell from the air just like coffee beans.

Some baked beans are shown by internal temperature. On other models, some players will also use ovens and thermometers to modify them.

The temperature change is relatively complex and will not be detailed. If you are interested, you can refer to this book:

Roasted coffee beans are not the best for instant grinding and brewing. Because raw beans are not fit to drink within 72 hours of baking. During this period, coffee beans will release a lot of carbon dioxide, which is a ripening process. Generally speaking, the coffee beans of 10-45 days after roasting are the best flavor period for coffee, and the color and flavor are at their best, and the flavor will be lost for a long time. At the same time, in order to let the freshly roasted coffee beans, the carbon dioxide released by the coffee beans can be discharged without entering the air to accelerate oxidation, the roasted coffee needs to be packaged with a special one-way valve bag. In addition, it should be noted that it is best to finish the coffee beans in Kaifeng within a month.

1. Smell

Put the coffee beans close to the nose and take a deep smell to see if you can clearly smell the aroma of the coffee beans. If so, it means the coffee beans are fresh enough.

On the contrary, if the aroma is weak, or if the smell has begun to appear greasy (such as peanuts or nuts will appear for a long time), the coffee beans are not fresh at all. No matter how much effort it takes to grind and boil such coffee beans, it is impossible to make a good cup of coffee.

2. Look

Spread the coffee beans on your hands, determine the origin and variety of coffee beans, and determine whether the coffee beans are roasted evenly.

3. Peeling

Take a coffee bean and try to peel it off by hand. if the coffee bean is fresh enough, it should be easy to pull away, and it will have a crisp sound and feeling. If the coffee beans are not fresh, you will find that it seems to take a lot of effort to get rid of a bean.

Another important point to observe when peeling off the coffee beans is to see if the firepower is uniform when baking. If it is uniform, the outer skin and inner layer of the beans should be the same color. If the color of the surface layer is obviously much darker than that of the inner layer, it means that the firepower during baking may be too large, which will also affect the aroma and flavor of coffee beans.
