Hangzhou elder-level coffee-mortal cafe

From the mortal cafe to the predecessor of loft49, to the second generation of mortal music in Binjiang, the location has changed, but the screening of Li Jiawen's beloved film has not been interrupted. On the second floor, the curtains are down, everyone is sitting on the ground, and the big screen is slowly pulled down. The young people of literature and art are willing to invest all their youth and time in the life of light and shadow.

In this open art space, in addition to persisting in showing art films, art activities such as exhibitions and poetry readings will also be held irregularly.

A small area of less than 10 square meters is used as a private meeting place, with colorful cushions neatly thrown on the floor with a low square table in the middle. This kind of design is not very special, but compared with the usual two-minute dating face-to-face model of the cafe, the independent and unisolated small space coincides with the metaphysical maverick of the post-80s generation.

For more than a decade, this caf é, which can be regarded as an elder in Hangzhou, has been hiding in an alley near Wulin Square, keeping a low profile of "big looming in the city, mortal world". The boss, who knows coffee and has a little knowledge of art, makes the place "between the bar and the cafe" with its own flavor-not too noisy, not too quiet to speak, and the atmosphere happens to feel a little tipsy.

Lemonade, coffee, air conditioner, pillow, but found a little unaccustomed, is something missing? It's a magazine. I seem to be used to flipping through a pictorial or magazine at hand, but I can't find it. Only after guidance did I know that there was a separate reading room hidden on the first floor.

The bookshelf is very high, one on each side, thinking of a foreign photographic work, a thin woman squatting on the ground flipping through magazines to look for information, with three tall bookcases in the background. Since it boasts literature and art, "City Pictorial", "City China" and "Vision" are naturally indispensable, and inadvertently appear in the out-of-print "letter", which is the leading fashion magazine of that time.

Many people have Starbucks' ideal: to open a cafe without meals, but under realistic pressure, they have to develop in the direction of restaurants, and they are also understood and recognized. But Li Jiawen still insists that there are still 16 kinds of whisky alone on menu, including champagne, cocktails, brandy, vodka and rum, with coffee and drinks as accessories, plus a few simple snacks.

The day's art business starts at 1: 00 p.m., 2: 00 or 3: 00 in the morning, and nightlife ends. There is such a place, and more and more people know and like it.
