The 2014 China International Coffee Fair (Cafe Show China 2014) was held in Beijing Sanyuanqiao National Exhibition Center from August 8 to 10, jointly sponsored by China Exhibition Group Beijing Huagang Exhibition Co., Ltd. CIEC and South Korea EXPORUM Company. The exhibition area of this year's coffee exhibition is nearly double that of the previous one, with more than 45872 visitors coming from more than 120 enterprises from 15 countries and regions.
At the exhibition site, well-known enterprises in the domestic coffee industry were unveiled with many international pavilions such as South Korea and Malaysia, and many coffee raw material producing countries competed for the sustained and rapid growth of China's coffee market. Exhibitors from Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Brazil, Colombia, the United States, Poland, India, Ethiopia and other countries showed up together. The Indonesian Coffee Association, the Malaysian exporter Chamber of Commerce, the Colombian Coffee Bean producers Association and other key officials attended the exhibition to strongly promote domestic products. In addition, Yunnan coffee beans, as the representative of coffee producing areas in China, brand recognition is greatly improving.
Compared with the raw materials, most of the coffee equipment are European brands, especially the Italian coffee machine has a high market share. SM, Bezerra, Magister, FAEMA and other well-known brands have all appeared, and there are Lilla from Brazil and Probat coffee bean roaster from Germany. In addition to commercial equipment, LAVAZZA, Rialto and other brands also show the most popular capsule coffee machine, so that coffee lovers can also enjoy freshly ground coffee at home.
While coffee culture goes deep into people's lives, it is also developing in the direction of standardization. Industry certification activities have received widespread attention before they are carried out. The "Wester" Cup barista contest held in this exhibition was attended by professional players from Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin and other parts of the country. The guest judges had a luxurious lineup and the competition atmosphere was tense and intense. Coffee cup testing is not only a professional skill, a profession, but also a kind of fun. Columbia Coffee International Cup Test Competition has also attracted much attention at the exhibition. Contestants should not only ensure correctness, but also ensure speed, fast pace of competition and popularity. During the same period of the exhibition, there are more than 10 wonderful activities, such as SCAE barista qualification examination, sweet secret class, I love coffee skill training station, trendy beverage promotion and so on.
