Schemata Architects designed Blue Bottle Coffee's second store in Japan, located in Tokyo's Qingshan District, just a few minutes' walk from Meisando Station. The cafe is located in a quiet block surrounded by trees, occupying the second floor of a building, and a few blocks away is the noisy main street. On the second floor, in front of the spacious balcony, you can see the green leaves, enjoying the beauty and comfort of each season. The space of the coffee shop is east-west, and the entrance is at the end of the narrow. Taking advantage of the depth of the space, the designer created three coffee areas according to the customer's stay time and behavior, and gradually changed from the short-term parking area at the entrance to the long-term parking area at the back end. The design of the kitchen ensures that all behavioral activities can be seen without hindrance. The space created for customers, the kitchen is equally important, and we hope that customers, employees and high-quality coffee will be together in harmony.
