Coffee pull flowers, let people taste delicious coffee, but also appreciate fashion / food aesthetics! The 2017 International Coffee pull trend Seminar and the National Campus Cup Coffee draw Competition was held for two days in a row at China University of Medical Science and Technology. 61 contestants from food and beverage related departments across the country took part in the competition. People were amazed by their ability to pull flowers, three-dimensional animals, lovely shapes, and so on.

At the scene, teacher Zhang Guifang, a well-known three-dimensional coffee sculpting expert in the coffee industry, was also invited to demonstrate the teaching of three-dimensional flower drawing. Zhang Guifang was proficient in the creativity and skills of drawing flowers, making lovely kittens, bears, and even cockroaches jump vividly on the coffee. Everyone was amazed, and the students rushed to take pictures and learned a lot of ideas and skills.

The competition attracted 61 student representatives from various catering departments across the country. The competition invited Zheng Zhiyuan, who won the coffee pull competition for two consecutive years in 2015 and 2016, and Zheng Zhiyuan, who will represent Taiwan to participate in the World Cup in Hungary in June this year. Zhang Shuofeng, manager of Shangpin Coffee Food Co., Ltd., Xu Zhe-Shang, the highest certified coffee cup tester in the United States, and Cheng Yujia, the judge and Taiwan champion coach of the WCE World Cup Coffee draw Taiwan trials, Six well-known professionals in the industry, including Lin Shanglun and Guo Bozuo, served as judges.

Scoring items include graphic location, color contrast, beauty and creativity, difficulty and professional attitude, etc. Each contestant must complete two identical cups of coffee within a specified time.

Chen Nanyin, head of the Department of Catering and Tourism at China Medical University, said that the competition provides a platform for students from catering and tourism-related departments across the country to exchange experience and technology, hoping to enable students to observe and learn from each other and develop their professional skills through the competition. we will further promote the culture of fine coffee in Taiwan and promote the development of sightseeing catering and the exchange of industry-government-school cooperation.
