Nantou Weikeduo Coffee Bakery is not waiting in line for coffee, but waiting for blood donation! Because his mother needed a large amount of blood transfusion in a car accident 20 years ago, boss Chen Po-song not only joined the ranks of blood donors, but also continued to hold blood donation activities over the past nine years, and bought gifts out of his own pocket. Even his own coffee and bread have been used to call for blood donation, attracting die-hard fans to wait in line, which has become a fixed point for blood donation in Nantou. Residents described this caring cafe as "the most beautiful scenery in Taiwan!"

Chen Poisong, the 40-year-old owner of Viktor Coffee Bakery, was praised for his outstanding blood donation sponsored by the Taichung Blood donation Center this year. Chen Bosong said that after he came out of society, he first donated blood on his own. since 1997, he and other groups have been designated to donate blood at Carrefour in Nantou, waiting in turn on the 8th, 18th and 28th of each month until now. After the opening of Viktor Coffee Bakery on March 24 the year before last, blood donation activities were held in front of the store every three months, which lasted for nine years because of his mother's car accident 20 years ago, thanking blood donors for saving their lives.

He pointed out that in 1986, due to a major car accident and multiple severe injuries to her head, hands and feet, his mother showed first aid in Zhushan, Nantou County, and was transferred to a Taichung sand deer child for comprehensive treatment. She was transferred to a general ward for more than two months and was hospitalized for half a year. Brain debridement, skull reconstruction, facial bone reconstruction, arm, pin bone, ankle reconstruction, and facial plastic surgery led to blood transfusions exceeding 4500CC one after another.

Chen Persong recalled that he was very sorry to see his mother tug-of-war with death. His mother needed many major operations and needed a large number of blood transfusions. In the past, the concept of blood donation was not common. He had waited a day for blood transfusion and finally arrived. He was very grateful to the blood donors for their love, so that his mother could tide over the difficulties smoothly, and also let him feel how important blood donation was to the blood recipients and their families. He vowed to wait for him to have the ability. Blood donation activities should be held to give back to the society.
