The results of the 2017 online auction of Guardian Coffee announced that the online auction of "Fine Coffee of Guatemala (Cup of Excellence)" was held on June 15, 2017. The auction price was won by Acatenango Finca El Parajax Coffee Manor in Chimaltenango province, selling 330.69 pounds of pacamara coffee totaling US $19,180 at US $58 / lb.

Evelio Alvarado, general manager of the Guanguo Coffee Association (Anacafe), said 28 coffee farms took part in the auction this year. The first Finca El Parajax Coffee Manor sold at $58 per pound, higher than the first Finca Los Jutes Coffee Manor last year at $53.10 / lb. Antonio Meneses, owner of El Parajax Coffee Farm, said he was overjoyed that after 20 years of efforts, he could finally become one of the best coffee in the world.
