Starbucks cappuccino approach
Follow the caf é (Wechat official account vdailycom) and found that Beautiful Cafe opened a small shop of its own.
Cappuccino has an irresistible unique charm, at first it smells good, the first sip, you can feel a lot of milk foam sweet and soft, the second mouthful can really taste the original bitterness and rich coffee beans, finally, when the taste stays in the mouth, you will feel more mellow and meaningful.
Materials: starbucks espresso (Bold) Starbucks Italian espresso beans (ground into powder), Guangming Mishima whole milk, French pressure kettle (French filter press), Ikea foam machine
Practice:
1. Use a Starbucks coffee spoon, scoop a spoonful of (flat) espresso coffee powder (note that this is not instant coffee powder must filter the coffee grounds in a filter pot), and put it in a French kettle.
2. Leave the boiling water for about 4 minutes (about 2 minutes in winter, which can prevent the coffee from evaporating too quickly), then pour it into the kettle. About the amount of water needed for 150ml.
3. Cover (but don't press the strainer down immediately) and soak for about 5 minutes.
4. At the same time, put the milk about 200ml-250ml (according to your taste and cup size, I personally like to put more milk) into the microwave oven and heat it for 2 minutes. Or heat it in a milk pan until foaming. Then press the strainer down to the bottom.
5. Pour out the brewed coffee. And pour in the milk. Stir well with a stirring stick. Be careful that the water level is not near the edge of the coffee cup. Approximately leave at least around 2cm or more height blanks.
6. Use the Ikea foam machine. Do not stay at a height when using. Move up and down, but be sure to stay in the center of the cup. And it takes a little longer. Until there is a delicate foam.
In this way, a cup of mellow and delicious homemade Starbucks cappuccino is finished.
Note:
1. Personally, I think the superior times of Guangming or the three islands of Guangming are more fragrant, and the milk concentration is just right. In particular, Mishima is cheaper and better value for money. Do not use Weigang milk, it will destroy the original perfect taste of coffee. Frankly speaking, I drink coffee at Starbucks in Nanjing purely for the sake of the environment. Weigang milk is very bad, and the flavor of milk essence is too strong. Even though it's called special milk.
2. Milk must be full-fat. Heat at least 40 degrees. Neither hot enough nor skim milk can make a perfect foam. Milk heated in a milk pan should theoretically be easier to beat than in a microwave oven. It thickens as the temperature rises. I used a milk pot to heat it several times, without a foam machine, there was a thin layer of naturally formed milk foam on it.
3. There are many kinds of coffee beans in Starbucks. I have bought several. Personally, I think bold espresso is the best, because Starbucks itself often uses this kind of coffee beans. So it tastes kinder. This is very meaningful for starbucks fans.
4. It doesn't matter if you don't have a coffee grinder at home. You can ask the clerk to grind the beans for you when you buy beans at Starbucks (if you don't buy beans from Starbucks, they are willing to grind them for you). But you have to tell him / her what you use to make coffee. Because different machines have different requirements for the size of grinding particles. In general, if you press the kettle, the particles should not be too fine. But I have also met a rookie shop assistant several times and told me how to grind the kettle very carefully. It's depressing. So if you see the face of the shop assistant is relatively new, be sure to explain clearly, I use the pressure pot, the particles are not too fine. If you look at him / her as if he / she is a little confused, you can smile and remind her / him to ask the old shop assistant for help. Because too fine particles press the pot to make coffee, there will be a lot of coffee dregs in the mouth. It's depressing.
5. Ikea's foam machine is very cheap, so many people think it is cheap, so it is not easy to use. It's easy to give up the idea of getting a good foam. In fact, as long as you use it a few more times, you will slowly find the feeling. The milk foam I play now, I think I am more professional, hehe ~ ~
6. Non-instant coffee powder can also be bought in supermarkets like Metro or Wal-Mart. The price will be cheaper than Starbucks.

The relationship between coffee and 3T
Following caf é (Wechat official account vdailycom) found that Beautiful Cafe opened a small shop of its own to control 3T: water temperature, time and Turbulence. 3T refers to water temperature (Temperature), Time (time) and Turbulence (water flow). The water temperature, soaking time and the strength of stirring water flow, like the thickness, will affect the extraction rate, and then affect the concentration of coffee.
