A variety derived from the Arabica variety.

[Typica] Tibika

The closest species to the original species are Kaffa and Phylum of Ethiopia. An ancestor of all varieties, Typica has been cultivated, crossbred and perfected over hundreds of years. The overall quality of the glass is excellent, showing excellent purity and consistency, with lemon acidity and sweet finish. Brown-topped, bean-shaped large and slightly longer, like an elongated egg, called Arabigo or criollo in Central America. Low resistance to leaf rust, berry disease and nematodes makes it difficult to take care of, low seed set, and long harvest period (harvest once every 2 years), low yield. Planting density such as Bourbon planting 3000- 4000 trees per hectare.

[Typica] Tibika

The tree is 3-4 meters tall, conical in shape, and the angle between trunk and branch is about 50-70 degrees. The leaves are narrow and bronze. Berries are more oval than other varieties.

Typica has evolved genetically, and there are many variants that are more adaptable to the surrounding environment and produce new characteristics, which are usually considered new varieties. For example, Mexico Typica is slightly different from Hawaii Typica, so it has different names: Criollo (South America), Arabigo (Americas), Kona (Hawaii), Pluma Hidalgo (Mexico), Garundang (Sumatra), Blue Mountain (Jamaica, Papua New Guinea) São Bernado & San Ramón (Brazil), Kent and Chickumalgu (India).
