There are all kinds of mobile phone App in modern intelligent life, and now there is App that can guide you to make a good cup of coffee. GOAT STORY, from Slovenia, made up of young coffee lovers, recently launched an intelligent hand-brewing device called GINA, which can also be connected to GINA App and guide users to brew coffee step by step, making a perfect combination of classic hand-brewed coffee and modern technology. People who like novel coffee utensils should be no stranger to GOAT STORY. They, who have only been established for more than five years, hope to turn the coffee drinking into a unique experience through high-end design and advanced coffee equipment. The most famous product is a goat horn shaped mug GOAT Mug, which successfully raised more than US $450000 in Kickstarter after its launch. This year, the team continued to launch GINA and also raised funds on Kickstarter.
I firmly believe that making a good cup of coffee is a science, and GOAT STORY also implements it in the design of GINA. In addition to its stylish appearance, GINA looks no different from a general filter cup bracket coffee pot, but it can provide three common ways of brewing coffee: bubble, soak and ice droplets. It can be said to be readily available. The built-in smart scale can sense the weight, while the specially designed valve can control the water flow during brewing. By linking to the App application, you can estimate how much coffee powder and water are needed for any brewing method, and GINA will teach users how to make coffee step by step to ensure a smooth brewing process. In the process, App will track the relevant data and save it for reference and sharing among other members of the community.
Exclusive interview with GOAT STORY team (hereinafter referred to as GS)
Are the La Vie:GOAT STORY teams coffee enthusiasts? How many cups of coffee do you drink a day?
GS: our whole team is crazy about coffee. We can't imagine not drinking coffee made by Gina. That coffee is so great that we don't specifically count how many cups we drink in a day.
La Vie: since when did you get the idea of designing GINA?
GS: for years, we wanted to bring something new to the coffee industry, and decided to start with design and functionality. The best thing about GINA is that she combines hand-brewed coffee with modern technology. We want to create a special coffee brewing experience for users, but also make it easy, so we developed this App to guide users and help them make a perfect cup of coffee.
La Vie: why is this coffee smart device named GINA? Is there a story behind it?
GS: we just want to give this beautiful device a unique personality. The most important feature of GINA is her intelligence and versatility, and she can do many things at a time, so we decided to give her a female name.
Is La Vie:GINA designed for coffee beginners? Or is it more suitable for professionals?
The advantage of GS:GINA is that it is suitable for both coffee beginners and professionals. People who are new to coffee can complete coffee brewing step by step with the help of GINA and apps. For experienced coffee lovers, they can also experiment with different brewing techniques through GINA to make the coffee brewing process more perfect, which is very interesting.
La Vie: do you have any philosophy about making a good cup of coffee?
GS: our philosophy is that whether you brew or drink coffee, it should be a special experience. GINA can bring us this experience, every brew, every cup of coffee, she can provide us with the best coffee.
