Step 1: prepare the equipment

First of all, you must prepare the basic equipment for making hand-brewed coffee, including:

1. Hand punch pot

two。 Hand-brewed coffee filter cup

3. Coffee pot

4. Filter paper

5. Bean grinder

6. Coffee beans

Step 2: grind coffee beans and prepare hot water

Good coffee beans are the soul of making good coffee, the most important place naturally can not be careless, choose your favorite coffee bean flavor, and then put into the bean grinder to grind.

Generally speaking, it is recommended that the coffee powder of hand-brewed coffee per person is 12 grams, coupled with 180~200cc hot water, the hot water temperature is about 90 degrees. Of course, the above data are only for reference to facilitate beginners to make, because the variety, taste and even grinding thickness and personal taste of coffee beans will affect the amount of coffee powder and the amount of water.

Special note here, hand coffee is very casual brewing show, there is no certain form, when you have a certain experience, you can naturally make adjustments according to your own preferences.

Step 3: put the filter paper on the filter cup and sprinkle the coffee powder evenly

Fold the folded side of the filter paper first (see figure).

In this way, the filter paper can be firmly fixed on the filter cup, and then the coffee powder can be spread evenly on the filter paper.

Step 4: put the filter cup on the coffee pot and begin to brew

After putting the filter cup with coffee powder on the coffee pot, it is the highlight of hand-brewing coffee. With regard to the method of cooking, it can be said that a hundred schools of thought contend, but it is mainly divided into two kinds of cooking methods: cut off water and continuous water. Here we introduce the method of continuous water.

First of all, we will carry out a step called "steaming", which is a very important action of hand-brewing coffee.

When it comes to "steaming", keep the amount of water consistent and draw a circle slowly from the center. If the coffee powder is fresh enough, you will find that the surface of the coffee powder begins to bubble and swell.

When is the best time to stop adding water? When about twice the amount of coffee powder is added, it can be stopped. In other words, if you want to make 12 grams of coffee powder, when you want to "steam", add 24 grams of water to stop adding water. After adding water, wait for a moment to let the coffee liquid filter out, probably when the water on the surface of the coffee powder gradually disappears and no longer flashes, you can add water again.

At this point, draw a circle from the center, and you will find that there are no longer so many bubbles, something like this:

Then repeat the above until the amount of coffee filtered out reaches the amount you need.

These are the basic steps for making hand-brewed coffee, but in fact, hand-brewed coffee is broad and profound, and there are several mainstream brewing methods alone.
