[Anchoret] the mediocrity of the Hermit style Coffee Shop

Although the Anchoret in the corner of Xiying Pun has only been open for a short period of time, the different items in the store all tell a long history.

The style of a hermit

The owner and his wife OnKit and Nicky opened a fashion store in Beijing two years ago, also under the name Anchoret. When I come back to open a shop this time, I hope to try their idea that coffee and fashion coexist with each other. The interior decoration carries out the minimalist style of Beijing store theme and responds to the name of "hermit".

At first glance, it may feel similar to the decoration of a local coffee shop, but if you take a closer look, you can see that each cabinet has its own history and experience. The shopkeeper also asked the young designer to design the neon lights hanging wall decoration in the store in an attempt to highlight the local characteristics in Hong Kong.

The coffee shop is located on the ground floor and on the first floor, and brass products can be found everywhere. Meal plates, change plates, and even long tables all match the terrazzo bar on the other side. The store specializes in coffee, but there is also another grocery store, Good Good grocery desserts. Three of the signature coffees are mixed according to the characteristics of the coffee.

Black velvet coffee

Black velvet will be a special cup. Coffee looks and drinks like a cup of whisky. An empty cup will be filled with a round grain of ice, while the coffee will be poured into the shaker and shaken well, and then poured into the cup. The coffee is smooth and fruity, but it has the refreshing feeling of late summer and early autumn. The shopkeeper wants the coffee to feel as silky and supple as the name, like black velvet, and to associate the coffee with the fashion and coffee in the store.

Both the shopkeeper and his wife spent a lot of effort to incorporate fashion elements into their coffee. If you have a chance, you might as well come and experience the "careful machine" of the shopkeeper and his wife.
