It is another champion manor, this time the Muyongwei washing Factory in Rwanda! Before winning the championship in 2015, he had already won the runner-up of the Rwanda Super Cup in 2014 with amazing strength. The first-class bourbon produced by the washing plant has become a favorite of international bean bakers. The Nomad Barcelona we entered this time, including St. Abbott in the surprise box and St. Grey in Uganda, the branch stood out, and frankly we were a little surprised. Is it so different after switching from Diedrich to Probat UG?'

The Mu Yongwei washing Plant (Muyongwe washing station), located in the Gakenke district of Rwanda's Northern Province, was built in 2006 and is part of the Tuzamure Kawa Cooperative. It handles cherries from several nearby regions, Coko, Rushashi, Muyongwe, Rulindo and Muhondo, with about 1200 farmer members. They plant between 1600 and 1700 meters above sea level.

Bourbon is the main variety planted by farmers around Muyongwei, showing active and complex citrus flavor, peach and floral aroma. Mu Yongwei has gained a reputation in Rwanda's boutique coffee industry and has won numerous awards in the most important raw bean competitions in the past few years, such as the Gold Cup champion in 2007. Cup of Excellence has won several awards including 2008, 2013, 2014 and 2015. The batch of Elias Rwiririza coffee farmers handled by Mu Yongwei in 2015 even won the extraordinary Cup, with an international score of 90.42.

The way the cherries are treated in the washing plant is very similar to that in Kenya, which can be called double soaking. The cherries are first put into the tank to screen the fruits that are too light, then peeled and pulped, followed by dry fermentation for 12 hours, followed by 12 hours of wet fermentation. after entering the ditch, the cherries are re-screened with density to ensure the quality of shell beans. Drying is done in the sun.
