The filter kettle is an instrument invented by the French. It was originally invented for brewing espresso, but it is just as suitable for making tea. Do not need to plug in, filter pressure process does not need to use the heating source of the French filter kettle, the use is very simple, the only thing you need to be careful is not to break the glass kettle body.
First blanch the filter pot and coffee cup with hot water and start grinding the beans.
The coffee brewed in the filter pot has a strong flavor, the selection of deep-roasted coffee beans can give full play to the advantages of the filter pot, while the lightly roasted beans will highlight the acidity.
Because coffee powder can be soaked in water for 5-6 minutes, coarse ground coffee powder is needed.
After grinding the beans, pour out the water from the pot and put in the coffee powder. Then pour into the boiling water that has cooled slightly for a few seconds (the water temperature is 90-96 degrees Celsius), gently put on the filter kettle and press the filter handle down vertically with the other, make sure that all the coffee powder can be soaked in hot water to maintain the height of the handle, then wait for 5-6 minutes to soak.
In the process of soaking, it is best to cover the filter kettle with a sponge-lined insulation cover or hot plush towels to slow down the decline of water temperature.
After the soaking time is up, be sure to carefully, vertically and evenly press the filter handle slowly down to the bottom; if the angle is too large and brute force is applied in the push process, the glass filter kettle will be broken! After all the soaked coffee grounds are pushed to the bottom of the pot, the coffee is poured out, which is the optimum temperature at the entrance of the delicious food.
You should also be very careful in cleaning the filter kettle. You can use a lot of water to flush out the coffee grounds at the bottom of the kettle, but this is a waste of water, and the coffee grounds can easily clog household pipes. Because the general metal spoon is easy to break the glass pot, it is recommended that you scoop out the coffee grounds with a long plastic spoon or wooden spoon and then wash it. Don't forget to clean the filter kettle and say that the sieve connected in An is also easy to leave coffee oil.
