This batch comes from Kochere's most elite production area, Banko Kebele. This year we have again selected the highly acclaimed Godin-Alim Bukato batch, also from another Godin-micro region in Banko Village. This region is located in the southernmost part of the whole broad yega-shefi region, remote and high, and the selected batches are often amazing. When it comes to Yerga Sherphine, Eurocup testers will definitely think of Kochere. If you want to explore it more closely, Worka/Werka or Banko must be the top three picks that cannot be missed.

Although we have a lot of ink in the Yegasherfield production area, there are already a certain number of processing plants or cooperatives selected every year, and a few old friends know it in their hearts, but this season, as soon as we enter the cup testing room, we should first come to a blind test. The two sweet, deep-washed batches that impressed us almost led us to conclude that they were familiar fruit tints, but one of them seemed a little different. The mystery was revealed as Fufuate-Beyene Figa batches belonging to the same Banke village but different micro-producing areas and different processing plants. The name is a little strange to us, but the flavor in the cup is really fascinating, and the sample test after returning to Taiwan confirms the confidence we have introduced.

The Fofat-Benet Feiga plant acquires cherries from about 600 smallholder farmers in neighbouring areas, planted at an altitude of about 1900-2100 meters, which is quite excellent for cultivation. The cultivation of smallholder farmers follows the traditional Ethiopian method and is entirely organic. The treatment plant uses traditional Ethiopian washing treatment method. After peeling, it is placed in fermentation treatment tank for about 48 hours. After washing, it is dried in African overhead scaffolding for about 12-15 days. During the solarization process, in addition to continuous hand-picking and refining operations, the trellises were covered for about three hours at noon according to the traditional method to avoid excessive sunlight accelerating the drying time and affecting the quality.

This year seems to be the first time that the Fofart-Benet Feiga processing plant has appeared on the market under its own name, and fortunately, Nordic Approach (two batches at a time) and Fuglen, the roaster, have also chosen this bean. Nordic Approach sales price of 10.4 US dollars/KG, this price when the introduction of domestic bean merchants often hundreds of dollars, direct trade introduction of preferential prices absolutely let you lose your mouth, love Nordic bean wind friends, do not miss this wonderful rare bean Oh.

Cup test short comment:

Fresh and charming coffee flower with lemon sweet aroma, a taste can feel the sour and sweet yogurt, citrus, fresh lime, bergamot, lychee outline the whole outline, orange blossom and peach embellishment in the middle, the end of the rhyme with spices, flowers and Earl Grey tea flavor.
