The farm is owned by Amadeo Riera y Solsona, who is a famous doctor. But today, his son Jaime Riera is a gastroenterologist and coffee farm manager. Jaime is now trying different pruning methods to improve the quality of their coffee. They plant 3200 coffee trees and shade trees per hectare.
