People say that manning coffee is the coffee beans produced in Sumatra. We do not have such a simple definition. For coffee lovers, Mantenin coffee refers to Sumatran Arabica coffee treated by wet peeling, this special wet peeling method (wet-hulled). After preliminary washing and then one or two days of exposure, the moisture content of raw beans is still 30%, 50%, that is, peeling off the seed shell before continuing to dry, in order to shorten the drying schedule of raw beans. After about 2 days of drying, the moisture content of raw coffee beans can be reduced to 13%.

Please note that this special wet stripping method (wet-hulled) is easy to mildew raw beans, so the commercial grade Mantenin is not recommended for everyone to eat. Before, we also tried to use the more economical Mantenin G1 as an entry product, although it is marked as Grade1, which is the highest grade according to the raw bean standards of other countries, but for Indonesia, the bad bean rate of Mantenin G1 is still quite high (close to 10%), resulting in the high cost of picking beans. We still decided to choose high-grade gold mantenin, or better emerald manning as our product.

Manning G1 defective beans diagram shows that it is easy to have a whole moldy defective bean different from other coffee defective beans.

Lake Tawa is located in the Gayo mountains north of Aceh province in Sumatra; across Indonesia on both sides of the equator, coffee lovers must know that Mantenin produced by Aceh province is of the best grade. The humid tropical rain forest climate in this area is rich in rainfall, and the fertile volcanic loam soil brings rich nutrients to coffee. However, due to the remote location and inconvenient transportation, coffee did not begin to be planted until 1924, and most of them adopted organic cultivation with traditional shade and no pesticides. Mantenin raw beans produced in Lake Tawa are green and have been hand-picked three times in the country of origin. the beans are large (19 mesh +) and clean and neat, like carefully carved gems.

This kind of high-quality raw beans can reach 93 points in the cup test. combined with the current baking technology, the top Mantenin, which can fully demonstrate the characteristics of this section, is baked in the shallow medium.

Manning Coffee is not the name of producing area, place or port.

Nor is it the name of the coffee variety.

How did its name come from?

In fact, it is the phonetic error of the mandheling people in Mandaining, Indonesia.

During the Japanese occupation of Indonesia during World War II

A Japanese soldier drank mellow coffee in a cafe.

So he asked the shopkeeper the name of the coffee.

The boss mistook him for asking where you are from, so he replied: Mandaining

After the war, the Japanese soldiers recalled the "Mantenin" they drank in Indonesia.

So he sent 15 tons of Indonesian coffee to Japan.

Unexpectedly very popular.

That's how Manning's name came out.

Indonesia has a humid climate.

Dry coffee has become a big problem.

So Indonesia, according to the actual environment,

Suitable for the local climate
