Beans from Panamanian Coffee Manor-Santa Teresa Manor have always been the focus of coffee fans. They won the fifth and 15th place in 2017. Of course, this kind of good coffee should be well introduced.

Finca Santa Teresa (FST), located in the Santa Clara region on the border between Panama and Costa Rica, falls on a series of beautiful valleys and ridges, about 1400-1800 meters above sea level, creating a different microclimate and giving each micro-batch of fine coffee beans a different tonality.

The estate is owned by Juan Pablo Berard and his daughter Maria Luisia, who work together to manage a 100-hectare coffee farm, of which 25 hectares are used as virgin forests as animal and plant habitats. The variety of coffee on the estate, including Caturra, Catuai and Geisha, has won numerous awards. Since 2005, CoE has won ten awards, nine of which are TOP 10.

The coffee produced by the manor is all UTZ certified boutique coffee, especially the geisha is the winner of the Panamanian Cup of Excellence.

Here is a brief list of the winning records of the manor in the past two years (if you want to list them all, but it will take a lot of space)

No. 6 in 2017 Best of Panama- (Geisha Estribi Natural)

No. 15 in 2017 Best of Panama- (Geisha Manzana Washed)

2016 Best of Panama-5th (Geisha Natural Zorro)

No. 8 in 2016 Best of Panama- (Geisha Summer Honey)

St. Teresa Manor is dedicated to environmental conservation in addition to its outstanding performance in CoE. The coffee berries are carefully selected by workers and processed in their own processing plant.

The manor adopts environmentally friendly planting and raw bean disposal, all waste related to the production process is recycled as fertilizer or fuel, and water is taken from local streams. These environmental measures have been approved by the local environmental protection department of Panama.

In addition, they also spare no effort in local education. They join the non-profit organization Casa Esperanza to build school buildings, provide books and meals. The estate even has a school for employees and children, employs teachers from non-governmental organizations, and provides school buses to help children commute to school. This shows the dedication of the two landowners to local education.

Such a high-quality Panamanian coffee estate, of course, must be fully supported!
