For people born in the 1970s, Teresa Teng is probably an eternal legend. Many of her songs once pervaded the streets. Like the song "Wine and Coffee":

"Wine and coffee.

All I need is a drink.

Think of the past.

Had a second drink.

Knowing that love is like running water

No matter who he loves.

I would like some wine and coffee

One drink after another.

I'm not drunk. "

Neither Teresa Teng nor the author of this song would have thought that the song described a scientific fact: when drinking wine with coffee, they unwittingly drank "cup after cup", but still felt "I'm not drunk". More recently, decades later, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) have shown red cards for "wine and coffee" drinking.

Eggnog, eggnog, is said to have originated in England, but it is now more popular in North America, especially during the Christmas season. Starbucks launches fancy coffee in season every winter, and eggnog latte is my favorite flavor. But Starbucks doesn't have a license to sell alcoholic beverages, and there's no alcohol in eggnog lattes. I'd like to try an alcoholic eggnog coffee, which should be similar to Irish coffee. In addition, my friends told me that there was no such taste in China, so I wrote this blog post for students who are interested in trying.

Eggnog has two ways. One is to mix raw eggs without heating, beat whole eggs or separate eggs, and then add whipped cream to form a flowing mousse. The eggnog made in this way is so delicate and fluffy that it can only be cold but not heated.

Eggnog and one espresso, or two eggnog plus one hot milk and one espresso, is a delicious simple eggnog coffee. To make a standard eggnog latte, use a machine to steam the eggnog-milk mixture (don't overheat it), beat the foam and pour it into the espresso. The high level of eggnog you need to add can be chosen according to your taste, such as rum, brandy, bourbon and whiskey. It can also be made into an alcohol-free version and replace the alcohol part with milk.

Eggnog ingredients: 3 eggs, milk 250ml, doublecream 150ml, rum 100ml, 80g sugar, a pinch of salt, a few drops of vanilla, the right amount of nutmeg (or a pinch of nutmeg):

1. Beat the eggs in a large bowl, add sugar and a pinch of salt, beat the eggs until the color is white.

2. Pour milk and cream into a small pot and heat it over medium heat until it is about to boil.

3. Slowly pour the milk mixture into the egg liquid and keep stirring the eggs until they are well mixed.

4. Pour the egg and milk mixture back into the pot, pour in a pinch of nutmeg and heat it to about 71-72 degrees over low heat. At this time, the egg milk thickens slightly and will adhere to the stainless steel spoon.

5. Turn off the heat immediately and mix in vanilla and rum

6. After filtration, refrigerate for at least 6 hours until completely cooled.

7. Add ice when drinking and sprinkle a little nutmeg on the surface

Eggnog coffee: mix one espresso with two eggnog, or two eggnog + one hot milk and one espresso. The eggnog-milk mixture can be foamed by machine.
